Valve Pouch

Degassing valves are now widely used in the packaging of various products, including coffee, to prevent pressure buildup on the shelf. When coffee beans are roasted, they naturally release CO2, which can accumulate in the bag and cause problems over time. The degassing valve helps release this gas, making it an essential tool in the coffee packaging industry.

How it Works

Degassing valve: lets CO2 out, keeps air out.

When the pressure level reaches 5 mbar, the valve automatically opens, releasing gas until levels are back down to 2 mbar.

By utilizing this method, coffee maintains its freshness for a longer period and the package retains its shape over time, ensuring prolonged quality and aroma of the beans.

PrimePac guarantees superior degassing packaging with 100% in-line controls for consistent quality in every package.
